We are looking for you! We offer a full-time position (40h/week) as a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) in one of our locations in either Heidelberg Berlin Leipzig or Munich. The offer includes the option of working several days per week in the mobile office.
Youllplay a key role in designingdevelopingandmaintainingscalable backend services APIs and data-driven systems using modern technologies.

Your mission
- Design develop and maintain robust backend services using NodeJS TypeScript and ExpressJS.
- Build and consume APIs ensuring performancescalabilityand security.
- Work closely with frontend developers product owners and QA to deliver high-quality features and improvements.
- Write andmaintainunit/integration tests.
- Follow clean code principles and enforce coding standards.
- Designoptimizedatabase schemas and queries.
- Participate in code reviews in team meetings and contribute to improving development workflows.
- Document software architecture design decisions and code effectively.
Your essential experience and education
- Strong experience withNodeJSTypeScript andExpressJS.
- Solid understanding ofGraphQLand API development.
- Hands-on experience withPostgreSQL including query optimization and schema design.
- Proficiencyin writing unit/integration tests usingJest.
- Familiarity withESLintandmaintainingcode quality standards.
- Experience with at least one modern ORM framework (Sequelizepreferred)
- Monitoring and error tracking with at least one modern framework (Sentrypreferred).
- Familiarity withFirebasefor backend services.
- Version control and CI/CD knowledge usingGitLab
- Experience with container orchestrationKubernetes.
- Experience withTypeGraphQLis a plus
- Experience in cloud platformAWSis a plus
