Job Description
Commissionaires BC is currently looking for casual on-call security guards for an RCMP site.
Position hours:Casual
Wage:$21.75 per hour
Some of your responsibilities include:
Commissionaires BC is a Canadian not-for-profit security/enforcement organization that has been in business since 1927. Our mandate is to give back to those who served and continue to serve in our communities and provides security services for over 200 sites and are located in over 110 communities across the province. Our client base runs from the Federal Government to local municipalities airports industrial sectors and commercial/residential guards are not only behind the scenes providing security and access control but front and centre providing valued customer service to the public.
Position hours:Casual
Wage:$21.75 per hour
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Static front desk security control
- Perform regular exterior and interior building patrols
- Provide access control as per site regulations
- General administration duties
- Report all incidences to the Site Supervisor and provide investigation report.
- A valid BC Security License
- A valid Basic First Aid (OFA 1) certificate
- Has resided in Canada for 5 years for clearance purposes
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Fluent English written verbal and reading skills
- Prior security experience in a similar environment
