Newfront is a team of expert advisors providing industry leading services and resources in Insurance. The Wholesale Benefit Practice Division Advanced Professionals Insurance and Benefit Solutions (AP) is a practice that provides exceptional service sound advice and professional benefit consulting to product distributors plan sponsors and insurance carriers.
The Senior Account Manager will primarily engage with healthcare carriers third party administrators (TPAs) and external clients collaborating closely with internal teams such as operations sales marketing and senior leadership. You will play a key role in daily client operations yearly renewals product launches and geographic expansion.
This role offers the opportunity to create personalized strategies for success and be rewarded for outstanding performance. Success in this position requires proactivity forward-thinking process orientation and strategic relationship-building.
This position reports to the General Manager and is a full-time exempt role and is located in Newfronts Office in Seattle WA. This role will be a hybrid remote schedule with three days in the Seattle office and two days working remote.
Own and manage operational relationships with carriers third-party administrators (TPAs) and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.
Lead and facilitate monthly operations meetings at the program level setting operational timelines communicating expectations and ensuring accountability from TPAs and carriers.
Address and resolve client matters including escalated and complex issues by coordinating with appropriate parties for resolution.
Provide support to the team during high-demand periods particularly during the sales and renewal seasons.
Oversee the successful implementation of new clients ensuring a seamless transition and integration into existing processes.
Manage client renewal cycles ensuring all necessary tasks are completed accurately and within set deadlines.
Maintain inventory documentation to support the Agency Management System ensuring records are up-to-date and accessible.
Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager during the annual web content audit to ensure accurate and relevant information is available.
Own and coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders for bi-weekly client reporting. These reports include overall highlights operational updates sales updates and marketing updates.
Drive monthly stewardship meetings and reporting for clients and key stakeholders.
Stay informed of regulatory and industry changes and proactively manage any impacts on clients or new business opportunities.
Provide coaching and training to team members as needed to enhance skills and improve performance.
Perform additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned contributing to the overall success of the team and organization.
Minimum of 8 years of employee benefits experience.
Exceptional communication skills: written public speaking and presentation preparation.
Exceptional telephone etiquette and customer service skills diplomacy professionalism and tact.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and its complex features.
Ability to be resourceful take initiative solve problems offer solutions and make process improvements.
Works well with others in a fast paced environment and is responsive to co-workers and colleagues. Ability to train delegate provide oversight and give feedback.
Be adaptable flexible and proactive in addressing issues and client needs.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
Ability to learn adopt and train use of technology systems and software applications.
Exceptional multi-tasking abilities with a proven track record of adapting to shifting priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
Proficient in strategic project planning with advanced time management skills for long-term initiatives.
Proven ability to build strong relationships and establish trust with key stakeholders.
Solid understanding of core services and product offerings recognizing opportunities to cross-sell within Newfront.
Washington State Life and Health License (must have or acquire within three months of employment).
The pay range for this position in California Washington Colorado and New York at commencement of employment is expected to be between $107600 and $134600/yr; however base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including a bonus restricted stock units and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired the employee will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
