HB Wealth (HB) is a leading fee-only financial planning and investment advisory firm headquartered in Atlanta GA with two other offices in the metro-Atlanta area and additional offices in Palm Beach Gardens FL Tampa FL Nashville TN Columbia SC Augusta GA Towson MD and Columbia MD. Established in 1989 HBs employees work together collaboratively from all locations to provide comprehensive financial planning and investment management services primarily to high-net-worth individuals. Total client assets under management are over $18 billion as of December 31 2024. The Wealth Advisor position has primary responsibility for engaging with clients assessing their needs recommending financial solutions and plans and executing the prescribed course of action. The individual will focus on client opportunities by providing ideas and insights based on an understanding of the clients needs and their financial well-being.

Wealth Advisors will have a mix of lead advisor and secondary advisor roles in client engagements.


Job Responsibilities

Advisory and Relationship Management

  • Manages client relationships and helps clients achieve their goals.
  • Makes critical client decisions such as creating or preparing reviewing and presenting financial plans.
  • Leads the implementation of planning decisions and assigns client service steps to the rest of the team.
  • Works with Senior Wealth Advisors and Senior Wealth Strategists to discuss develop and implement financial planning techniques and recommendations.
  • Follows the client service process defined by the firm and coordinates the consistent delivery of services to clients.
  • Takes ultimate responsibility for the quality control of client deliverables such as meeting agendas financial plans investment reports analyses or presentations.
  • Communicates proactively and consistently with clients to identify changes in their financial lives and needs that should be met.
  • Builds strong relationships with clients through consistent and caring communication.
  • Maintains high professional expertise and continues to learn new processes theories and best practices of client service.
  • Serves as clients financial quarterback by advising on topics such as investments retirement cash flow taxes debt charitable endeavors education planning insurance and estate planning.
  • Works proactively with clients external service team including accountants and attorneys to meet client goals.
  • Maintains necessary professional licenses and designations.


Firm Development

  • Grows existing client relationships by adding more assets under management identifying opportunities for additional services and seeking referrals.
  • Trains coaches and/or mentors Senior/Advisory Analysts and Associate Wealth Advisors.
  • Contributes to the Advisory Teams initiatives for increased efficiency quality and control through system training enhancement and process improvement.
  • Foster an environment of diversity and inclusion.
  • Foster and nurture a culture of authenticity respect quality excellence gratitude humility and collaboration.


Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 7-10 years of relevant industry experience
  • Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with financial planning CRM and Portfolio reporting software
  • CFP or CFA required

  • Analytical capabilities to both retrieve data and understand the implications of that data.
  • Strong desire to learn and advance in the financial industry.

Salary Description
$120k-$160k plus annual bonus potential
