Position Summary
- Guggenheim Securities Information Management (GSIM) is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Collaboration Manager to lead our Collaboration Team. This role will focus on the design implementation and support of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Exchange Online Teams SharePoint and OneDrive. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing enterprise collaboration environments and a passion for optimizing digital workplace productivity.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage and lead the Collaboration support including hiring training and performance management.
- Oversee daily operations ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Develop and implement IT support policies procedures and best practices to ensure efficient and effective support.
- Manage and support M365 services including Exchange Online Teams SharePoint OneDrive and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Implement and manage security and compliance features such as DLP Conditional Access and MFA.
- Collaborate with the Information Security team on Proofpoint / Email security
- Administer Exchange Online mail flow transport rules mailbox policies and hybrid configurations.
- Troubleshoot email delivery issues and manage anti-spam/anti-phishing policies.
- Provide Tier 3 support for Teams SharePoint and OneDrive issues.
- Collaborate with Compliance on Information barriers and archiving technologies such as Telemessage Enterprise Vault and Behavox.
- Assist with user adoption training and documentation for collaboration tools.
- Implement and administer all telephony environments including Teams calling.
- Manage the conference room AV capabilities including Teams and Zoom rooms.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of administrative tasks.
- Monitor system health and performance using Microsoft 365 Admin Center and related tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects involving M365 services.
- Evaluate and recommend new collaboration technologies and features.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience managing an engineering support team or similar IT support function.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 environment including Exchange Online and Teams.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Conditional Access and security best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Experience with hybrid Exchange environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Purview compliance solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in information technology or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in IT with a focus on Microsoft 365 administration.
Work Location
- Currently this role is expected to be in the Chicago or New York office Monday - Thursday.
Salary
Annual base salary between $xxxxxx and $xxxxxx.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
