Job Description

Senior Physical Security Manager

The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Physical Security Manager to join the team in Berkeley MO.

The Physical Security Manager will be supporting our Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) and Enterprise Government Physical Security program team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of employees performing activities to support the design and construction of secure spaces in the St. Louis/St. Charles area as well as other teammates and locations within the United States

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports

  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes

  • Develop and execute projects and process plans implement policies and procedures and set operational goals for the group

  • Implement plans to ensure business technical and customer requirements are achieved

  • Assign authority and responsibilities to employees to execute the plan

  • Review plan execution make appropriate adjustments and resolve issues

  • Monitor and report appropriate metrics to ensure performance to plan

  • Provide on-going development feedback

  • Recognize contributions of individuals and teams to improve employee satisfaction and retain a skilled and motivated workforce

  • Keep business partners management and others informed by communicating project status conducting and participating in team meetings and providing presentations

  • Utilize knowledge of all construction disciplines including civil architectural mechanical electrical and electronic engineering principles

  • Exercise knowledge of Intelligence Community Directive 705 (ICD 705) standards Best Practice Guidelines for Architectural Radio Frequency Shielding (Tempest Guidelines) Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) and construction principles

  • Participate inphysicalsecuritysurveys and inspections as requested to determine if areas meet accepted standards for the safeguarding of life property assets and classified information

  • Provide advice and assistance to stakeholders within the business onphysicalsecuritystandards especially during project development

  • Assist in review of alteration expansion and new construction documentation to identifysecurityrelated items that require revision or further clarification to meet applicable standards

  • Participate in project meetings with FacilitiesManagement field offices business leaders and associated construction contractors and vendors

  • Other duties of similar scope and nature as assigned

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5) formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years

  • Ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Program (SAP)

  • 10 years of experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP SAP and/or SCI

  • 10 years of experience in personnel security administration physical security communications security and/or other programmatic security-related field

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher or equivalent work or military experience

  • 10 years of experience managing teams

  • 10 years of experience communicating with internal and external customers

  • Experience with program operations or project management. In-depth understanding of Special Access Programs (SAP) administration

  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) Physical Security Professional (PSP) or other similar certifications
