This position is responsible for developing and delivering high quality instruction to Exceptional Children. The positionwill utilize research-based strategies for instruction and intervention to help students with moderate and severe disabilities achieve greater behavioral and academic success. The position will help students to make progress within IEP goals and objections to reach their highest potential in areas such as intellectual and emotional skills as well as functions of daily living.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Strictly adheres to the Kentucky Certified Code of Ethics (704 KAR 20:680) Work is performed while standing sitting and/or walking. Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech vision written language and hearing. Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. Requires the ability to lift carry push or pull light objects and students up to 25 lbs.
Certification Requirement
Possession of certification as required by Kentucky law. Condition of Employment Insurability by the Districts liability insurance carrier.
