Bracken Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a well-knownMain Contractor in the UK who are seeking an experiencedProject Director for pipeline projects in the South West region. TheProject Director will lead manage and successfully deliver 50/60m Pipeline projects for schemes in the South West region. My client is looking for an experience Project Director with a strong understanding and track record of delivering schemes of this scale. This role would suit an individual with plenty of ambition to deliver projects on time and within budget. The successful candidate will given opportunities to progress their career further on completion of projects and will be given opportunities for more Senior roles within the business.
Key Accountabilities will include:
- Lead the project team and manage the supply chain to deliver projects to time meeting cost and quality targets and standards
- Ensure safety targets and standards are maintained by knowing what safety excellence looks like and communicating safety with passion and credibility in order to inspire motivate and lead the project team
- Foster a continuous improvement culture by actively seeking input from all members of the project team and encouraging them to implement safety improvements
- Proactively manage the customer relationship during delivery including change and decision making to effectively manage expectations and maintain long-term relationships
- Lead manage and deliver operational excellence and efficiency through appropriate use of leadership indicator health check reviews through the Bid Pre-construction and Construction phases of the project
You will have strong leadership skills and the ability to lead influence and communicate with others to deliver targets.
To be successful in the role you will have significant previous experience in project management in particular managing complex pipeline jobs.
