Job Description
Ware Public Schools seeks an approachable and responsive leader who:
- Is an approachable visible leader in the district in their support for staff and students
- Is a clear communicator with students across schools and in the larger community
- Has experience as a classroom educator and leads through professional development
- Has demonstrated history in managing under fiscal constraints
- Creates a community of support for students in the district
- Listens to students parents and administrators
- Embraces the opportunity to be part of the close-knit Ware community
- Licensed or eligible for license as a Superintendent of Schools in Massachusetts
- Masters degree required advanced degree preferred
- Preferred minimum of 10 years in education including teaching and central office and/or administrative experience and 5 years teaching experience
