Job Summary:
This role is for an X-Ray Technician specializing in Orthopedics. The technician will work independently in a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility strong communication adaptability dependability and punctuality. The position necessitates collaboration with others and proficiency in using EPIC (preferred). Orthopedic experience is required.

Location: Newark New York United States
Responsibilities:
- Performing X-ray procedures on orthopedic patients.
- Maintaining and cleaning X-ray equipment.
- Adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- Accurately documenting procedures and findings.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Managing patient flow efficiently.
- Utilizing EPIC (preferred) for record keeping.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current X-Ray Technician license.
- Experience in orthopedic X-ray procedures.
- Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
- EPIC experience (preferred).

- This is a travel position suitable for first-time travelers.

Scheduling:
- 5 eight-hour shifts per week (0800-1630).
- Start date: August 10 2025.
- 4-5 week assignment.
