Job Description

Job Title: GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer

Locations: Louisville KY (Onsite from Day 1)

Job Type: Contract W2

Experience: Minimum 10 Years Required

Top Skills:

Azure Kubernetes Terraform

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

8 years of experience in cloud engineering roles with a strong focus on GCP.

Proven hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Compute Engine GKE Cloud SQL Cloud Storage VPC Cloud IAM Stackdriver etc.

Demonstrable experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration including deployment scaling and management.

Strong proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across multi-cloud environments (GCP and Azure).

Working knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Azure services.

Experience with scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOps).

Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS VPN Load Balancing).

Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack).

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
