Job Description
Job Title: CNA

Job Description:
- Assists patients with personal hygiene including bathing (bed bath shower tub) showering oral care hair care nail care and shaving.
- ids patients with dressing and undressing ensuring appropriate attire for comfort and dignity.
- Assists with toileting needs including offering bedpans urinals and commodes; providing incontinence care and changing briefs as needed; and assisting with pericare
- Assists patients with transfers (e.g. bed to chair chair to toilet bed to stretcher) using proper body mechanics and assistive devices (e.g. gait belt mechanical lifts).
- Aids with ambulation providing support and ensuring patient safety to prevent falls.
- Repositions bedridden or immobile patients every two hours (or as directed) to prevent pressure injuries and promote circulation.
- Assists with range of motion exercises as delegated by the nurse.
