Job Description
3 x 12s night shift
On Call: One shift/week
*LRDP Experience labor with PP experience preferred*
BLS & ACLS Required
NRP - Required
AWHONN - Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring - Required
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - Required
L&D Experience - Required: 2 Years
Patient population includes Females of childbearing years pregnant 17 weeks gestation laboring scheduled procedures (C-sections external cephalic versions cerclage (we try not to do these on the unit)) and Triage issues. The activity on the unit includes admissions discharges transfers pre-op and deliveries (vaginal and C/S). Common equipment used in Labor and Delivery includes Fetal Monitors Cerner and Fetalink documentation.
