Job Description
Location: Chicago IL
Long Term Contract
Only W2. No C2C
Lead development and design decisions for complex web applications.
Provide technical direction to other developers.
Design build test and support scalable microservices and web apps.
Translate business requirements into technical specs.
Write and optimize SQL queries (preferably in SQL Server).
Create and maintain REST APIs.
Participate in production deployments and post-production support.
Tech Stack / Experience Required
7 years in web application development.
5 years with Core Java (design development debugging).
Experience with:
Microservices Docker AWS
Frontend: HTML CSS TypeScript React
REST APIs Linux
SQL (SQL Server preferred)
Frameworks: Micronaut Grails Groovy Spring Hibernate
Bonus: Android or iOS development experience.
Strong grasp of OOP design patterns and secure coding practices.
Enthusiasm for automated testing and CI/CD processes.
