LOCATION: Remote U.S.
PAY RATE: $96/hour

Summary:
-
Manage and maintain OpenShift clusters supporting IBM Cloud Pak for Data ensuring high availability and performance.
-
Collaborate with development and operations teams to deploy troubleshoot and optimize containerized applications and workflows.
Requirements:
-
Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
-
Strong OpenShift administration experience supporting IBM Cloud Pak for Data
-
Proficient in containerization (Docker Kubernetes)
-
Skilled with Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux or similar)
-
Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP DNS load balancing)
-
Familiar with security best practices (authentication authorization encryption)
-
Strong troubleshooting and log analysis abilities
-
Deep understanding of OpenShift architecture CLI (oc) and web console
-
Experience managing projects applications and container image workflows in OpenShift
-
Kubernetes expertise: pods services deployments persistent volumes and kubectl
-
Knowledge of Kubernetes networking concepts (endpoints policies)
-
Automation experience (e.g. Ansible)
-
Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana
-
Backup and restore strategies for OpenShift clusters and volumes
-
Performance tuning and scalability optimization for OpenShift
-
Comfortable in agile/DevOps environments
-
Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
-
Strong interpersonal skills and effective team player
-
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
