Develop and manage fabrication subcontracting strategies for project requirements.
Identify evaluate and onboard qualified fabrication subcontractors.
Prepare and negotiate subcontract agreements including scope of work timelines pricing and quality standards.
Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to contract terms safety norms and project specifications.
Conduct regular inspections and quality audits at subcontractor facilities.
Coordinate with engineering procurement quality control and project management teams to ensure seamless workflow.
Resolve disputes or non-conformance issues related to subcontractors in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain detailed documentation including contract files change orders and correspondence.
Track fabrication progress and proactively identify delays or cost overruns.
Support cost estimation and bid evaluation during project tenders related to fabrication scope.
Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering or related discipline.
Postgraduate qualifications in Contracts/Project Management (preferred).
Strong knowledge of structural/mechanical fabrication methods and codes (ASME AWS ISO etc.).
Proven experience in managing subcontracts in fabrication-heavy EPC or industrial projects.
Proficiency in contract drafting negotiation and vendor management.
Excellent understanding of technical drawings BOQs and fabrication deliverables.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage vendors and internal teams.
Working knowledge of ERP systems MS Excel MS Project and contract management tools.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and documentation.
