This is a part-time temporary/seasonal and hourly position that provides support to UCO Athletics. This position will perform various duties related to Athletics administration operations and other functional areas. The duties of this position will vary based on the particular assignment.
This position may be required to assist with game-day and day-to-day operations including but not limited to equipment setup/tear-down tailgating/fanfest promotions on and off field/court entertainment signage setup/tear-down ticketing scorers table pre- & post- event activities work with sports media relations and other duties as assigned. This position may require moving equipment working outside on grounds helping with preventative maintenance and/or set-up for athletic events. This position may also require clerical work including but not limited to data entry research organization technical usage of computers and athletic event specific programs including ticketing statistical or other event management software. This position may assist with providing training and/or assistant coaching to athletes on a temporary/seasonal basis under the direction and supervision of UCO Athletics staff.
Working nights weekends and holidays is a possible function of this position.

College/Department Overview
The Athletics Department at the University of Central Oklahoma currently supports about 400 student athletes in 15 NCAA Division II sports including Football Mens & Womens Basketball Mens & Womens Golf Baseball Softball Wrestling Womens Track & Field (Indoor & Outdoor) and Cross Country Womens Tennis Womens Soccer Womens Rowing and Womens Volleyball.
Qualifications/Experience Required
General education or vocational training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have a valid drivers license clean driving record and be able to operate a typical motor vehicle.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Must be able to multi-task in a loud fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Able to maintain confidentiality and have good interpersonal skills.
Must be highly motivated dependable possess independent work habits and willing to accept other duties as assigned.
