The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Protection apprenticeship within the Percy Hedley Foundation. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and willing to learn with good attention to detail organisational and communication skills.

As an apprenticeship regular training with our training partner to achieve your Data protection and information governance practitioner (level 4) qualification. Equivalent to higher national certificate (HNC). At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

You will work 37 hours per week:

8.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday

8.30 am to 4.00 pm Friday.

The post is temporary for the length of the apprenticeship typically 18 months.

Examples of what youll do at work

• Assist in co-ordinating responses to data subject access rights and information requests
• Assist in responding to complaints and concerns
• Report investigate analyse and document data incidents and breaches
• Support the Data Protection Officer with specific tasks related to the data protection improvement plan training and audits
• Be a specialist point of contact for advice and guidance regarding data and information management for all business areas
• Provide support to the Data Protection Officer and Records Manager as requested

GCSE in:
