Job Title: Professional Research Associate Enzymology (Lampe lab)

Job Summary:
The Lampe Lab is currently recruiting a full-time (100% FTE) Professional Research Associate (PRA) with significant experience in protein enzymology including: gene cloning expression and purification characterization and enzyme kinetics assay development (e.g. Km Vmax). The ideal candidate will have specific experience working with bacterial cytochrome P450 (CYP) enzymes and cognate bacterial redox partners (redoxin/reductase pairs) as well as some experience with molecular docking protocols and software such as AutoDock Vina and UCSF DOCK and compound library screening. An MS degree or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Science Biochemistry Medicinal Chemistry or a closely allied field is required. This is a salaried position for work up to 40 hours per week with full benefits. Working hours are flexible. This position is currently funded for one year with the possibility of an extension depending on future funding availability.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
$58687 - $60500 per annum
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
