Job Description:
The Machine Operator role at the Hanover location reports to the Packing Room Supervisor and takes day-to-day direction from the Lead Machine Operator. Youll add value to this role by performing various functions including but not limited to:
- Ensures that production standards are met by operating all packing room machines at specified efficiency (speed). Packing room machines include: Hayssens box machines box tapers stretch wrapper diverter gates case labelers and sonic sensors.
- Determines upcoming production needs by studying production sheet to anticipate changeovers and assigned products to machines. Uses this information to have correct film co-dates stickers hot stamps etc. ready for next order.
- Maintains specifications by observing operations detecting malfunctions and inspecting product for pleats leakers holes registration and code-dates to keep within specified bag waste limits.
- Ensures product specifications by completing weight checks on packing lines.
- Other duties as assigned
Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on 2nd shift which operates from 3:00p to 11:00p Monday through Friday with some Saturdays. Availability to work overtime when needed. Payrate -$25.26/hr shift differential included.

- Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication both verbal and written
- Experience in a manufacturing environment food manufacturing a plus
- The ability to work overtime and weekends
