Your Journey: 
During your 4-year apprenticeship you will rotate through different departments and learn all aspects of what it takes to become an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. Your rotations will include assisting aircraft inspections and maintenance procedures. Learn to troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems and components under expert supervision.  

Throughout your apprenticeship you will be completing unit standards towards your New Zealand Certificate in Aeronautical Engineering (Level 4). Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship you will move to an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer role. From there your opportunities are endless you can grow within our airline to become a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) or discover a different role within our Engineering & Maintenance area to pursue.
