Job Description

What will you be doing 

Were seeking a talented HR Adviser to join our HR Team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to step into Financial Services and continue their career in HR with a focus on Employee Relations. 

You will work closely with the Senior HR Advisor Employee Relations Manager the HR Business Partners and the HR Services team to assist them in delivering their overall business strategy. 

As HR Adviser - Employee Relations your responsibilities will include among others

  • Provide advice and support on employee relations issues including but not limited to performance management sickness absence management flexible working requests and grievances etc escalating as required.
  • Establish and develop trusted relationships across the business at a variety of levels through collaboration and gaining credibility.
  • Collaborate with managers and HRBPs to develop action plans for employee concerns and performance issues.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices
  • Provide support to the wider HR Team (including Senior HR Adviser) as required on employee relations matters.
  • Provide HR advice and guidance to specific client groups.

Qualifications :

    To be successful in this role you should

    • Up-to-date knowledge of HR best practice employment law and current thinking and developments in HR.
    • Ability to manage conflicting priorities & deliver to deadlines.
    • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
    • Excellent systems and analytical skills with attention to detail.

    Desired

    • CIPD L5 or equivalent relevant professional qualification is desired but not essential.
    • The role will require some travel between Bracknell and London and travel to other offices as required.
