Fairmont the Red Sea located in the beautiful coastal city of Umluj Saudi Arabia is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a Housekeeping Supervisor you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our luxury hotel.
- Oversee and coordinate daily housekeeping operations ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Lead train and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms public areas and facilities to maintain cleanliness standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment ensuring proper stock levels and budget adherence
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols in accordance with hotel policies and local regulations
- Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations
- Develop and maintain cleaning schedules and rotation plans
- Participate in the recruitment and performance evaluation of housekeeping staff
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices in housekeeping operations
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in housekeeping supervision or management preferably in a luxury hotel setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Superior time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional communication abilities both verbal and written
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques products and equipment
- Familiarity with luxury hospitality standards and guest service expectations
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Relevant hospitality certifications (e.g. AHLEI Certified Hospitality Housekeeping Executive) are a plus
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve standing walking and lifting throughout the day
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage
