Network Engineer
Full-Time Tipton MO
To Thrive in This Role You Should Bring:
- Education & Experience:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in an Information Technology-related field OR two to three years of hands-on experience in network administration operations or engineering.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of LAN and WAN architecture including design implementation and support.
- Proficiency with IPv4 technologies associated protocols and network performance optimization along with entry-level IPv6 design.
- Experience in network architecture planning including analysis of existing systems and greenfield deployments.
- Specialized Skills:
- Firewall administration and maintenance expertise.
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Juniper JUNOS and Cisco IOS-based network devices.
- Advanced design and configuration knowledge of unicast IP routing protocols.
- Network Performance & Analysis:
- Comprehensive skills in Layer 2 network design and operations.
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP OSPF and MPLS.
- Working knowledge of DHCP DNS and IPAM systems.
