Job Description
The purpose of this position is to seek to bring forth and establish the cause of Zion.
Produces the design rendering and construction documents for Church facilities. Work includes designing complex architectural and/or engineering solutions as assigned by the Architect or Engineer. Produces complete construction documents and checks final drawings for compliance with AEDs quality standards and coordination with all discipline drawings and specifications. Provides group leadership to lower level Architectural Drafter and outside CAD service providers.

- Earn $32.00 -$40.00/hr depending on experience and education

- This position is a 12mo fixed-term employment position working from July 2025-July 2026
Responsibilities
You can see yourself :
- As a member of a design team working to achieve the highest quality results and finding ways to improve
- Producing construction documents that communicate clear well-organized and high-qualitydesign intent through the development of sketches plans sections elevations details schedules and renderings
- Working on projects the support the functions of 70 existing and historic buildings totaling over 9 Million square feet along the Wasatch Front
- Verifying conditions for new projects and maintaining a library of as-built Revit models
- Collaborating with clients and design team to create detailed design plans in Revit that are innovative functional and meet the needs of the client
- Taking responsibility and initiative for assignment deadlines and accuracy working with little to moderate supervision
- Collaborating with organization representatives to ensure accurate reporting. This involves auditing spaces to assess current conditions updating information in space management software and monitoring space utilization
Assembling information for project programming documentation and analysis integrating industry methodologies for optimizing work environments

Qualifications
Your background and qualifications include:
- A Bachelors or Associates degree in drafting construction architecture interior design engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of experience using Revit AutoCAD and Bluebeam
- 2 years proven experience in architectural design
- Collaborating effectively as a team or with clients with spoken and written communication
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A drive to be creative curious and to understand how things are built
