Caregiver

Village Caregiving - Lexington is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver in Covington Kentucky.

We have flexible scheduling!

This individual will be responsible for providing direct care and support to client in their home. Ensure their safety comfort and well-being. As a member of our team you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.


Responsibilities:
Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing dressing and grooming
Medications reminders
Plan and prepare meals and snacks
Assist with light housekeeping tasks and laundry as needed
Escort clients to appointments and activities if needed
Engage in meaningful conversation and activities with clients to promote socialization and cognitive stimulation
Monitor and report changes in clients physical and mental health
Communicate effectively with clients their families
Adhere to all company policies procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license auto insurance and reliable transportation
Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred but not required we provide PAID training including CPR
Ability to work independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate patient and empathetic demeanor
Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening

You will also be eligible for supplemental insurance. Vision dental accident etc.
