Logan Health is growing their Behavioral Health team in Montanas Hi-Line region and were looking for compassionate community-minded therapists to help us expand mental health care to the rural communities we serve. We have four new positions available to choose from in Shelby Cut Bank Conrad or Chester Montana. Each clinic supports patients across the lifespan with strong ties to the surrounding communities including school based clinics.
What Youll Be Doing:
This position plays a vital role in improving mental wellness by providing both brief interventions and traditional therapy in a hybrid clinic model. Youll work collaboratively with patients families and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated compassionate care.
Participating in employee and community-based committees
Advocating for mental health awareness and access
Providing suicide prevention courses (if trained)
Supporting integrated behavioral health in a rural healthcare setting
Building lasting relationships rooted in trust and community engagement
Who You Are:
You are a licensed mental health professional (LCSW LCPC or LMFT) with a strong sense of initiative and a deep commitment to supporting rural communities. You bring versatility in working with both adult and pediatric populations and ideally you have at least two years of clinical experience. We also welcome applications from new graduates seeking supervised hours toward licensure.
You are independent dependable and self-motivated. You are skilled in both brief interventions and long-term therapy and passionate about community engagement and mental health advocacy.

Work Location and Schedule details:
As part of our dedicated Behavioral Health team youll be providing care in one of our four clinics of your choosing. This position will work Tuesday through Friday 10-hour shifts with a 1-hour lunch break generally seeing an average of 78 patients per day.

Qualifications:
Masters degree in Social Work Psychology or related counseling field required.
Current Montana LCSW LCPC or LMFT licensure required. *We will consider a licensure candidate needing supervision.
Minimum of 2 years of mental health counseling experience is preferred.
Current CPR certification required as applicable to assigned area(s).
Possess knowledge of evidenced based practice and experience in assessment crisis assessment brief therapies and clinical case management preferred.
Ability to analyze intervene and evaluate a range of psychosocial theory and methods as applicable to assigned area(s).
Possess knowledge of cultural ethnic social historical and spiritual issues relevant to the provision of mental health treatment as applicable to assigned area(s) preferred.
Possess a working knowledge of: Psychiatry Psychology Social Work Education and/or Marriage and Families.
Experience and/or knowledge of behavioral health disorders and treatment modalities.
Excellent organizational skills detail-oriented a self-starter possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact professionalism and diplomacy.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
Job Specific Duties:
Triages referrals from providers and ensures on-going liaison occurs with stakeholders as applicable to assigned area(s).
Performs initial and comprehensive assessments including diagnostic evaluation risk assessment behavioral systems level of care need and other information necessary to determine treatment as applicable to assigned area(s).
Performs as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team provides consultation and education services as applicable to assigned area(s).
Coordinates patient transitions into services and discharges from treatment as applicable to assigned area(s). Coordinates care admissions and/or referrals with appropriate stakeholders as applicable to assigned area(s).
Completes progress notes and documentation in EMR for services provided to patient per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).
As applicable to assigned area(s): Provides individual group and family therapy clinical case management and outreach services in an effort to fulfill the patients treatment goals wellness and recovery; Participates in development of individual and/or group treatment plans utilizing a variety of brief psychotherapeutic psychosocial and/or psychoeducational modalities.
Provides crisis management as applicable to assigned area(s).
Works with medical clinical and support staff to arrange mobilize utilize and coordinate a comprehensive range of community resources that effectively meet the identified patient and family needs as applicable to assigned area(s).
Serves as a patient advocate and liaison with physicians and other healthcare professionals as applicable to assigned area(s).
Complies with the legal and regulatory laws reporting and practice standards within scope of practice.

Shift:
Day Shift - 10 Hours (United States of America)Schedule: Full-time 40 hours per week (10-hour day shifts)
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
