A business based in York is currently recruiting for a Credit Controller & Sales Ledger Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent full-time basis. On offer is a salary of up to 30000 (DOE) plus a brilliant range of benefits including 30 days holiday (including bank holidays) company bonus scheme and further.
As a Credit Controller & Sales Ledger Assistant you will be:
- Managing and underwriting credit applications from both business and personal customers
- Liaising with the sales team for further info and giving the final sign-off before products are released
- Maintaining the sales ledger and managing customer changeovers including refunds
- Chasing arrears and dealing with finance queries via shared inboxes
- Providing ad-hoc cover and support across the finance function
To be successful in this Credit Controller & Sales Ledger Assistant role you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in credit control or sales ledger roles
- Confident communication and a team-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Sage Xero QuickBooks or similar systems
- A proactive solutions-driven approach with great attention to detail
We would be keen to speak with individuals who are currently in a Credit Control Sales Ledger Accounts Receivable Purchase Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Admin Finance Officer or similar role. You will need to be a team player who is confident speaking on the phone with an excellent telephone manner.
