This is a unique executive level opportunity within the Development Assessment and Sustainability / Planning Group leading the Housing Delivery Authoritys declarations process helping to unlock housing supply across NSW.
As the Director Housing Delivery Authority Declarations youll lead the secretariat functions and expression of interest process for the Housing and Development Authority and set the future direction for planning panels across NSW. Youll work with internal teams local councils applicants and other stakeholders to guide proposals to declarationensuring processes are timely transparent and strategically aligned.
Youll need to balance tight deadlines high expectations and policy priorities in a fast-paced and often politically sensitive environment. Your ability to lead a team make evidence-based decisions and maintain strong relationships will be key to driving outcomes that meet both community needs and government objectives.

About You
Youll bring a strong mix of planning expertise strategic thinking and leadership to guide the complex EOI and panel reform process through a fast-paced and high-impact process. Your experience navigating planning systems managing stakeholders and balancing competing priorities means you know how to deliver outcomes without losing sight of detail or quality.
Youre confident working across agencies leading teams and making evidence-based decisionseven when the pressures on. With your ability to think ahead influence effectively and stay focused on the end goal youll play a key role in unlocking housing that meets the needs of communities across NSW.
