Job Description
Novo Building Products is an industry-leading manufacturer and distributor of moldings stair parts doors and specialty building products. Position Details:
Hours: M-F 2pm-10:30pm
Pay Rate: $17.50
Position Summary
The person in this position will be responsible for ensuring the product is restocked throughout the warehouse at our Channahon Facility.
Essential Responsibilities
- Restock by moving products into bins while checking the quality of the stock and tallying the bundle for system accuracy.
- Check the product for bad/defective pieces and identifies appropriately; note the number of bad pieces on the tally for updating the system.
- Operate motorized equipment (i.e. tuggers) as needed for the efficient and safe movement of stock and materials.
- Remains aware of possible hazards and maintains a safe work environment.
- Maintains a clean work area sweeping rebinding loose bundles etc.
- Other duties may also be assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
- Must be able to perform all essential functions including physical requirements
- Must be able to physically handle awkward product lengths and lift to50 lbs without assistance.
- Basic math skills interpersonal/team skills and reasoning skills are also required
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.

- 100%: Stand handle or feel squeeze or grasp
- 80%: Reaching with hands and arms depth perception
- 50%: Walk repetitive motion operate moving equipment
- 10: Working bent at the waist stooping kneeling crouching bending or twisting
- Lift push or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Lift push or pull 75-100 lbs. with assistance.
