Overview:
We are searching for a seasoned Senior IT Solutions Analyst to spearhead the functional design of systems and applications that support warehouse management solutions. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with external clients internal operations IT teams and project groups to define and design Warehouse Management Solutions.
- Convert business requirements into detailed system specifications.
- Oversee projects and solutions to align with client expectations acting as the primary liaison for updates and inquiries.
- Perform rigorous testing to ensure solutions meet both customer and business process needs.
- Engage in pre-sales activities showcasing technology solutions capabilities during presentations.
- Develop business process solutions leveraging system capabilities and identify necessary new applications or functionalities.
- Provide training to end-users on solution usage leading project scope discussions and recommending technical solutions.
- Develop comprehensive project plans timelines and milestones and conduct regular meetings to assess plan effectiveness costs and solution quality.
- Analyze system/software capabilities to formulate technical solutions and identify future enhancement opportunities.
- Mentor junior Solution Analysts and coordinate with relevant departments for solution development and implementation.
- Evaluate solution quality ensuring it meets customer requirements and provide feedback on project team performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Management Information Systems or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Solutions Design.
- Over 7 years of direct experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- At least 5 years of experience in data analysis and SQL proficiency.
- 3 years managing large-scale projects and handling multiple projects concurrently.
- Previous consulting experience and business solution exposure are advantageous.
- Experience as an intermediary between customers operations and technology teams.
- Preferred certifications: Green Belt Black Belt Lean or PMP.
- Comprehensive understanding of implementation project lifecycles methodologies and standards.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills to effectively resolve issues.
- Strong knowledge of applicable technologies for solution development.
