Extended Day Program Assistant to join our Auxiliary Programs team. This part-time role supports our Extended Day program for students ages 4 to 14 providing a safe engaging and supportive environment during after-school hours. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children communicates well with both students and staff and brings positivity to their role each day.
Position DetailsHours: MondayFriday 2:30 p.m. 6:00 p.m.
Reports to: Director of Auxiliary Programs and Auxiliary Programs Coordinator
Key Responsibilities1. Supervise and engage with students during indoor and outdoor play snack time and homework time
2. Monitor student check-in and check-out ensuring accurate records
3. Enforce program rules and expectations consistently and kindly
4. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care
5. Support the Auxiliary Programs Coordinator with daily program needs
Qualifications1. Experience working with children preferably in a school or camp setting
2. Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions
3. Comfortable using basic technology
4. Positive attitude strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
