To fulfill this role successfully you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications

  • Minimum Years of Experience: 2-3 Years of Hotel Sales Experience with consistent track record of achieving annual production goals
  • This role requires strong sales and networking skills.

  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team to perform beyond expectations
  • Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
  • Excellent selling capabilities and the ability and desire to coach selling techniques to Team Members
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Experience in a similar role with a proven track record
  • Highly professional presentations and oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and write in the English language to fully comprehend guest requests memos proposals general correspondence and similar written materials.

  • Ability to manage time resources and personnel effectively and productively.
  • Additional Requirements: Ability to travel on short notice and adaptable to schedule changes

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Knowledge of the local LAX hotel market for large group for Association Government Corporate and SMERF including Religious self-contained group with banquet spend.
  • Affiliation with professional organizations with a tie to the travel industry
  • Full-service hotel experience
  • Proficiency in Delphi FDC

The annual salary range for this role is $113000- $160000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.#LI-JL2

What will I be doing

The primary responsibilities of this position are to support and develop a high-performing Group sales team to execute creative dynamic and impactful business strategies and action plans across all group market segments that drive revenue streams including Rooms Catering and Events towardsachieving the hotels annual budget and crossover targets.

As an Assistant Director of Sales you will individually own and manage a key vertical market for a full service 1234 room hotel with 55000 sq. ft of flexible meeting space and 32 breakout rooms.
