Android Developer
As an Advantage FSE Android Developer you will be part of our team of talented Software Engineers dedicated to building and enhancingour OMNIA Digital Banking family of products currently successfully installed & running in Financial Institutions in countries of all 5 Continents. Youll play a key role in shaping digital banking experiences for clients around the world contributing to projects that make a real global impact.
What will you be doing
- Design develop and maintain our native Android application used by leading banks worldwide.
- Build fresh engaging interfaces for our customers.
- Participate on the ongoing development of a large-scale platform with Android developers and colleagues from all crafts.
- Maintain extend and improveour existing mobile applications offered by our Company as part of our Digital Banking family of products.
- Collaboratein agile teams for the design & implementation of new features & services.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle: concept design implementation testing and deployment.
- Maintain high code quality ensure app performance and follow best security practices.
Requirements
Who are we looking for
- Passionate & talented Software Engineers with hands-on development experience technical expertise & knowledge of the Android platform coupled with a good understanding of mobile applications in general.
- Self-motivated individuals with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ones who have the mindset to innovate and the ability to prioritize tasks & meet challenging schedules.
- Open-minded collaborative professionals who are able to both share and receive feedback.
- Team players who can create consensus whilst also challenging ideas & assumptions.
What do your qualifications look like
- University degree in Computer Science Engineering or any related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to build mobile apps throughout their lifecycle & maintain them.
- Strong knowledge & proven technical experience of Android Mobile Development(proficient with Java andKotlin).
- 2 or more years of professional experiencein Android app development.
- Familiarity with mobile development design principles best practices and design patterns (MVP MVVMMVI Clean Architecture).
- Comfortable using RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.
- Familiarity with Retrofit Dagger2 Jetpack Architecture Components Jetpack Compose Kotlin Flows & Coroutines ViewBinding Firebase services.
- Experience working in a larger team with code reviewsand unit testingon mobile.
- Experience with code coverage static code analysis tools (e.g. Detekt)and CI systems (e.g. Jenkins).
- Proficiency in build systems such as Gradle.
- Experience in publishing apps or contributing to production apps is a strong advantage(Google Play Store or Huawei App Gallery).
- Background in mobile application security and performance is considered a plus.

Our Selection Process
