You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailReporting to the Senior Executive Director Clinical the Director Clinical Planning has responsibility for clinical leadership and direction for the design build and implementation on all active QEII Redevelopment projects in conjunction with the broader Build NS project team and NS Health Clinical Planners.
The Director Clinical Planning provides leadership and direction in developing Project-Specific Output Specifications assessing and responding to the impact of a new design new technologies and equipment and identifies opportunities to improve clinical practice and processes. In addition the Director Clinical Planning is responsible for facilitating in collaboration with others the development and implementation of education transition planning and training strategies to support clinicians through these changes.
The Director Clinical Planning leads and collaborates with others to implement changes arising from the adoption of the new clinical practices and procedures to ensure the planned and build environment can support the clinical service model and clinical service delivery expectations.
Build Nova Scotia Healthcare Infrastructure Division is committed to delivering an extensive multi-site multi-year infrastructure Redevelopment Plan designed to ensure the health care needs of Nova Scotians are met for the next 50 years.
The redevelopment plan includes major expansions and additions to hospitals and health services in communities across the Province including throughout the Halifax and Cape Breton Regional Municipalities. Successful project delivery will allow services to be moved out of the aging facilities such as the Centennial Victoria and Dickson buildings on the Victoria General (VG) site of the QEII.
Master planning for the redevelopment program is focused on modernizing the health care system to ensure the needs of Nova Scotians remain at the heart of our delivery of best-in-class services. Together the redevelopment projects will help support the health care of all Nova Scotians today and for future generations.
