A Brief OverviewServes in a variety of functions including but not limited to providing direct support for clients and members of Averas wellness programs. This position relies on program knowledge and subject matter expertise to assist clients and members in accomplishing wellness goals. The purpose of the program is to improve health outcomes and the value of health care delivery by providing designated members of certain populations with population health management tools and analytics delivering comprehensive health and wellness programs to meet the needs of a given population meaningfully engaging targeted individuals in the management of their own health and wellness and optimizing care collaboration and coordination with healthcare providers.
What you will do
- Serves as direct contacts with clients and members within the designated service area.
- Assists with the development and execution of tailored wellness plans for an assigned group of clients and their associated members in partnership with the wellness leadership team to fully engage members and drive a high level of participation in assigned populations/client groups.
- Performs all aspects of a biometric screening including review of results goal-setting and data entry.
- Maintains skillset to perform the duties of a screening lead at health screening events and is responsible for the overall success of the event. Works closely with members to understand disease-specific related issues or interpret health risk assessment information to ensure members meet or exceed goals. Collaborates with care management team to provide continuous program involvement.
- Resolves client and member issues in person via phone and online and makes recommendations for potential product enhancements or modification to increase customer satisfactions.
- Participates in overall program evaluation and makes recommendations for employer program quality improvements.
- Assists members in setting realistic health and wellness goals.
- Maintains client data on employees who participate in wellness programs and information gained from employees during one-on-one coaching.
- Travels as needed to accommodate client sponsored wellness program activities and onsite visits.
- Represents wellness services at community sponsored wellness events.

Required Education License/Certification or Work Experience:
- 1-3 years experience with overall worksite wellness and implementing health and wellness programs.
Preferred Education License/Certification or Work Experience:
- Bachelors in healthcare related field (Psychology Exercise Science Nutrition Wellness Health Education and/or Promotion)
