About the role...

At Road Scholar were looking for a talented and detail-oriented Digital Content Creator to join our Design team. This individual will be responsible for building and publishing digital content across our website blog and product pages. The ideal candidate is fluent in content management systems understands accessibility and user experience best practices for older audiences and thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment. Familiarity with AI tools and how they can support content curation and workflow efficiency is strongly preferred.

Road Scholar offers a remote work environment. The compensation range for this exempt level salaried position is $59000 - $70000 based on experience.

In this role you will...

• Own the creation editing and publishing of digital content using Road Scholars content management system (CMS) Opti One
• Build and maintain landing pages and blog content to support marketing campaigns and SEO goals
• Curate and manage digital content across channels to ensure consistency clarity and relevance to our older adult audience
• Leverage generative AI tools to assist with content discovery competitive benchmarking and drafting content variations while maintaining editorial oversight and brand voice
• Ensure all content is accessible and adheres to best practices in usability and digital experience for aging users
• Collaborate with designers writers marketers and ev developers to bring content to life with compelling visuals and layouts
• Support content personalization and marketing automation efforts using tools like Braze
• Manage multiple content requests and priorities balancing deadlines and stakeholder needs.
• Assist in testing and optimizing content for engagement readability and accessibility
• Provide QA and proofing of digital content to ensure a high standard of accuracy and brand alignment

Were seeking...

• Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience; 3 years of experience in digital content creation web publishing or related field
• Hands-on experience with CMS platforms especially Opti One (or similar)
• Strong understanding of digital accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for designing for older users
• Familiarity with email and marketing automation tools such as Braze
• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign)
• Basic understanding of HTML and web layout principles
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to content quality
• Passion for education travel or mission-driven work is a plus
