Description

The Digital Specialist Manager is a key member of the Digital Operations Team responsible for managing workflows and ensuring the successful execution of digital marketing initiatives across EMEA. This role oversees the implementation of defined services that support hotels brands and the continent with essential digital marketing and operational strategies.

In this role the Digital Specialist Manager is responsible for workflow management ensuring the timely completion of various activities including paid search and social campaigns SEO programs China Ready Program content management and centralized workflows. Managing a team of specialists this role ensures that projects and deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines while also supporting the Director and Senior Manager in optimizing team workflows and capacity management.

This position requires strong project management skills operational expertise and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to drive efficiency and effectiveness across digital marketing operations.

Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

  • 2 years experience in client servicing positions or positions working with multiple teams/stakeholders (or equivalent experience)
  • 1 years experience in leading projects or equivalent experience
  • Strong workflow management skills and experience in workflow management/ workflow management systems.
  • Organized detail-oriented and deadline-sensitive; takes initiative and anticipates needs
  • Ability to think critically evaluate presented information and independently propose process optimization to drive efficiencies

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Project / Workflow Management

  • Works with established wokflows and proactively identifies inefficiencies to improve processes
  • Supports Project Manager with document creation for internal teams and key stakholders
  • Identifies opportunities to improve workflow management

Paid Media Support

  • Execute paid social campaigns through Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
  • Execute paid media campaigns through Google Ads
  • Plan manage and execute paid media campaigns from account setup strategy to reporting
  • Track and report on all campaign results per the defined cadence
  • Provide tactical solutions and campaign audits and optimizations
  • Budget management and flexibility.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met
  • Align strategies and campaign execution to goals and objectives
  • Be consistent in our approach to look for ways to drive successful campaigns and to always align with client goals.

Managing Hotels Online Presence - Distributed Authoring

  • Quality assurance and approval of hotel offer submissions
  • Quality assurance and approval of hotel photography on Digital Asset Center
  • Act as guide to Specialists / Coordinators once processes are launched
  • Supporting and championing the roll-out of DA processes

Managing Workflows Optimization of Digital Hotel Presence

  • Give feedback on processes and identify inefficiencies
  • Support in optimizing hotel website and outlet websites as directed by the Centralized Workflow dashboard
  • Load hotels offers as directed by the Centralized Workflow dashboard
  • Build offers in MBOP (hotel offers / ancillary offers / MEOs and EEOs) as required
  • Assist in the execution and implementation of deliverables including audits as outlined by the Centralized Workflow dashboard
  • Support in optimizing content related tasks such as asset management content score monitoring and OTA content as outlined by the Centralized Workflow dashboard
  • Provide additional support as needed
  • Provide additional admin support as requested by leadership
  • Work with the Digital Operations Team to coordinate Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tactics and manage keyword strategy for hotels opted into the Program
  • Lead coordination of China Ready Program tactics and support with managing deliverables for hotels opted into the Program as outlined by the Project Manager
  • Lead on the execution of FPX and Pre-Opening package deliverables as outlined by the Project Manager
  • Lead in launching digital marketing campaigns (paid search paid social) as outlined by the Project Manager

SEO Support

  • In-depth SEO knowledge
  • Support on SEO activities as needed including publishing of content and creation of reports

Supporting Operations

  • Implementation and workflow process management of all content optimization requests for the digital field marketing teams.
  • Manage the timelines and onboarding of new hotels across the continent in terms of contracting and all account set up with support of specialists.
  • Ensure expert training and support to hotels by working with managers to elevate digital knowledge.
  • Support with defined projects as outlined by the Senior Manager to ensure the overall performance of the team its areas/markets and participating hotels.
  • FPX / pre-opening program management and support

Managing Team

  • Manages sub-team as defined by leadership program or business needs.
  • Monitors the work of direct reports to ensure it is completed on time and meets expectations.
  • Conducts direct report 1:1s annual performance reviews and other HR functions.
  • Identifies opportunities for growth and project leadership for direct reports.
  • Represents team in resolving situations.

  • Attends and participates in all relevant internal and external meetings.
  • Informs updates and provides information to managers and co-workers in a timely manner.
  • Presents ideas expectations and information in a concise organized manner.
  • Uses problem solving methodology for decision making and follow up.
