Job Description
This role is for a Radiation Therapist in a busy outpatient clinic with three Varian linacs (TrueBeam Halcyon and 21iX) and a Siemens CT simulator. The therapist will deliver radiation treatments to adult patients utilizing various techniques including IMRT and SRS. Responsibilities include patient assessment treatment planning and adherence to radiation safety protocols. A minimum of two years of experience is required.
- Performing CBCT/kV/mV imaging.
- Utilizing ARIA treatment planning system.
- Adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- Chart checking and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Following isolation precautions.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- ARRT (T) certification.
- BLS certification.
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam Halcyon and Siemens CT simulator preferred.
- Proficiency in various radiation therapy techniques (IMRT SRS etc.).
- Experience with ARIA.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Vision RT.
- No weekend requirements.
- No float requirements.
- RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
- Shift is 5 x 8-hour days 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday-Friday. Start times may flex due to volume changes.
- 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM with potential for flexible start times.
- No weekends or on-call shifts.
