Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst with solid knowledge and expertise in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of P&C insurance principles processes and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to P&C insurance operations.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of P&C insurance products markets and competitors to identify business opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize your solid understanding of P&C insurance to support the design and development of innovative solutions that address business needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers and testers to ensure successful implementation of business solutions.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance during the development and enhancement of P&C insurance systems and applications.
  • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy within P&C insurance systems.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation including functional specifications business process flows and user manuals.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance principles products and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and the ability to write complex queries to extract manipulate and analyze data from databases.
  • Familiarity with dimensional data marts and their role in data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in using business intelligence tools to create reports and dashboards for P&C insurance analytics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to data integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment managing multiple priorities and meeting project deadlines.
  • A bachelors degree in Business Administration Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the P&C insurance industry is highly desirable
