Project Description:
Trinus Corporation is searching for a dedicated professional to identify and secure top IT vendors for our clients diverse procurement needs including services hardware projects and system upgrades. This is a 12-month W2 contract which is a hybrid position (1 day/week onsite) located in Plano TX.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing multi-year sourcing strategies for responsible spend categories using data analysis and internal collaboration.
- Developing strategies that consider clients objectives especially for shared suppliers and/or shared services/commodities.
- Designing planning managing and leading key Requests for Proposals information quote etc. with cross-functional teams.
- Supporting Legal and Indirect Procurement Shared Services (IPSS) Contracts with the development and execution of contractual documents including Non-Disclosure Agreements Statement of Work Master Services Agreements SaaS Agreements Software License Agreements Services Agreements and other contracts as necessary to support Procurement and business needs.
- Build and maintain close relationships with business units and supplier partners to deliver comprehensive and cross-enterprise process improvement solutions.
- Negotiate pricing and achieve cost savings while mitigating financial and legal risks for the enterprise.
- Effectively manage all sourcing and price negotiation activities and incoming ad-hoc business unit requests resulting in a contract or purchase order.
- Responsible for developing negotiation strategies based on analysis and execution of those strategies via supplier negotiations.
- Process business requests to issue purchase orders to suppliers.
- Support Technology Procurement and Sourcing activities.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with indirect procurement sourcing.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement principles and practices or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks of varying complexities and successfully set priorities for meeting time-bound deliverables.
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement procurement strategies.
- Exceptional analytic organization presentation and interpersonal skills with applied solid judgment and strategic thinking.
- Strong collaboration communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills.
- Experience with Procure to Pay tools including but not limited to Ariba.
- Experience with procurement of software and related technology services.
- Contract drafting and negotiation experience with suppliers.
Preferred Skills:
- Masters or graduate degree in business supply chain or related field.
- Automotive industry experience.
Education Required:
- Bachelors degree with an emphasis in Business Administration Supply Chain or similar field or equivalent experience.
