Job Description

***Will work predominantly at the Consolidated Service Center (CSC) at 7771 Palmetto Commerce Pkwy North Charleston SC 29420 not at MUSC Health Orangeburg campus. Housing considerations should take this into account.*** About the Position Position: Sterile Processing Tech Shift: 5x8s 3p-11:30p Weekend REQ: Rotating Weekends Call REQ: No Will clinician float to meet facility needs (Y/N): Yes to CSC Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2 years First-timers accepted: No Trauma Experience Level Req: Level 1 Experience required:- Sterilization Decontaminate and assembly/wrap SPT experience Scope Reprocessing Types of cases (experience) preferred: Neuro GU robotics ENT ortho Transplant GYN National Certs REQ: CBSPD and/or HSPA BLS REQ: not required Miscellaneous Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: Yes on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted rate RTO Restrictions: ALL RTO must be provided at time of submission. No RTO will be approved after contract is signed. Approval based on dept needs Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
