Job Description
Location: Watertown NY 13601
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Open to Local & Travel Candidates
Position Highlights:
- Shift: 12-hour days 7a-7p
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $1584 - $1728
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operative procedures.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field in the operating room.
- Set up and manage surgical instruments and equipment.
- Scrub in and assist in Ortho and Da Vinci robotic surgeries.
- Maintain knowledge of aseptic technique and sterilization procedures.
- Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned and sterilized.
- May be required to precept and mentor new staff or travelers.
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary teams.
- Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)-NBSTSA or NCCT accepted.
- Must have prior travel experience.
- Must have Ortho and Scrubbing experience.
- Must have Da Vinci experience.
- BLS Certification required (AHA or Red Cross).
- Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program is preferred or a current New York State LPN license is eligible.
- Knowledge of sterilization disinfection and cleaning procedures for OR instrumentation is essential.
