Job Description
Position: Junior Engine Mechanic
Location: On-Site Sriperumbudur
Reporting To: Sr. Mechanic / Lead Engineer / Maintenance Supervisor
Experience: Minimum 1 - 3 years
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Aeronautical Electrical or Aircraft
Maintenance Engineering.
Vacancy: 1 Nos
Mechanic to support engine maintenance activities including removal installation and
minor inspections of aircraft engines. The role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude a
commitment to safety and the ability to follow instructions precisely in a regulated
aviation environment
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in removal and installation of aircraft engines and engine components
under supervision.
Support engine inspections cleaning borescope setups and basic servicing
activities.
Able to read and interpret manuals (AMM/ESM/EIPC/SPM/CMM) and checklists
during all tasks.
Ensure tools and equipment are clean calibrated and stored properly after use.
Help document work performed and report any irregularities to senior
technicians.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas in compliance with company and
regulatory standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma in Mechanical Aeronautical Electrical or Aircraft Maintenance
Engineering.
1 3 years of experience in aircraft engine maintenance or workshop
environment.
Basic knowledge of engine types like CFM56/V2500/ or LEAP is an advantage.
Ability to read technical drawings and follow standard maintenance procedure.
Physically fit and able to work in shifts and challenging environments.
Exposure to aviation safety standards and maintenance documentation.
Willingness to learn and grow into more advanced engine maintenance roles.
Basic English communication and reporting skills.
Ability to follow instructions and contribute to team efficiency.
