Language: French not required Bilingual would be a bonus
Range of target pay rate: maximum $150/hour
Project Background
We are seeking a Delivery Lead to join our team for a critical banking integration program. This role is essential to support our project during a pivotal phase with numerous production events scheduled over the next few months. The ideal candidate should be aware the project is at a critical juncture and overtime and weekend work will be required; they should also not have any vacation planned during the contract. They should be willing to come into the office (Montreal or Toronto) at least 3 days a week. The contract duration is until the end of November with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management:
- Oversee the delivery of the banking integration program across approximately 10 squads ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Develop and maintain the overall program plan tracking progress against defined scope and schedule.
- Servant-Leadership:
- Collaborate closely with squad leads adopting a servant-leader mindset to empower teams and support their delivery efforts.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the squads.
- Risk and Issue Management:
- Proactively identify manage and resolve risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
- Facilitate decision-making processes to ensure timely resolutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Engage with stakeholders to drive outcomes managing expectations and addressing challenges effectively.
- Support innovative problem-solving initiatives to meet ambitious timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Jira Management:
- Utilize advanced Jira skills including knowledge of JQL to track project progress manage tasks and generate reports.
- Ensure that all squads are effectively using Jira for project management and communication support their Jira needs from an administration perspective and support building dashboards/Jira hygiene activities.
- On-Site Presence:
- Be based in Montreal; if located in Toronto be willing to travel for key production events.
- Commit to working in the office at least 3 days a week to facilitate collaboration and communication.
- Availability:
- Be prepared for overtime and weekend work as required by the project schedule.
- No vacation plans should be scheduled during the contract period to ensure full availability.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in program management particularly in large-scale banking integration projects.
- Strong servant-leader mindset with a focus on supporting team delivery.
- Advanced Jira skills including proficiency in JQL.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience collaborating with challenging stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ambitious timelines.
