Job Description:
Our client a leading financial services firm providing clearing settlement custody and risk management for securities transactions is seeking four mid-to-senior-level Full Stack Developers. These engineers will help modernize and enhance a capital markets risk platform. The role involves hands-on coding with modern Angular Java (Spring Boot) and Oracle.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Modernize legacy Angular applications to Angular 9 using standalone components and new features
- Develop backend services using Java 8 Spring Boot and REST APIs
- Refactor and optimize Oracle PL/SQL queries and stored procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX QA DevOps)
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to high-quality scalable and secure solutions
- Implement unit/integration tests using JUnit Jasmine/Karma
- Stay updated on Angular and Java ecosystem best practices
Required Skills:
- 8 years in Java/Spring Boot development
- Strong Angular (preferably Angular 9) development and upgrade experience
- Advanced Oracle PL/SQL development and performance tuning
- TypeScript RxJS Angular CLI SCSS/CSS
- Familiarity with Agile Git CI/CD pipelines Docker
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI
- Snowflake or cloud-based data platforms
- Testing frameworks: JUnit Jasmine Karma
