Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Programmer - Consultant with extensive experience in application development and system analysis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and improving business applications ensuring solutions meet user requirements through effective coding testing and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and troubleshoot assigned system problems in business applications.
- Propose and implement effective solutions.
- Code test and promote software while interacting with impacted users.
- Provide regular status updates to the Development Manager.
- Collaborate with engineers and business specialists in a real-time development environment.
Required Skills:
- 8 years of development experience with Micro Focus Visual COBOL (Windows Server 2019/2022).
- 4 years of experience with Visual Studio (2019/2022) and debugging capabilities.
- 4 years of application programming against RDBMS (Oracle SQL).
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for Oracle and MS SQL DB.
- Experience with IIS configuration/setup and Microsoft C# .NET.
