Job Description

Job Title: Sales Development I4 (Outside Sales)

Client: DoorDash

Location: Tallahassee FL

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Associate Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) to join our Outside Sales team focused on Emerging Markets. In this role you will drive new business development across your assigned territory by forming partnerships with top local and regional restaurants. Youll play a key role in executing DoorDashs growth strategy in untapped primarily rural markets.

This is a field-based sales position and your efforts will directly contribute to expanding DoorDashs footprint in high-potential areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to and develop DoorDashs presence in emerging markets-primarily untapped rural areas across the country.
  • Pitch and sell restaurant owners on the value of partnering with DoorDash.
  • Negotiate revenue share agreements with prospective merchant partners.
  • Operate efficiently within a fast-paced transactional sales cycle often closing deals within days.
  • Collaborate with your Regional Sales Manager and utilize provided tools such as sales sheets business cards and gift cards to support outreach.
  • Track all sales activities and follow company guidelines for travel compliance.

Travel Requirements:

  • Frequent travel throughout the designated territory is required including:
    • Day trips within 2 hours of Tallahassee FL
    • Occasional overnight travel (hotel stays) and extended travel days (up to 6 7 hours driving or flights)
  • All travel expenses are covered and monitored for compliance.

Compensation Structure:

  • Base salary plus commission on each new restaurant partnership
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE) for commissions: $1750/month with uncapped earning potential

  • Have 2.5 years of experience in a closing sales role or a related field
  • Are comfortable with frequent travel (at least 50% of the time)
  • Are skilled in a mix of inside and outside sales tactics to hit and exceed goals
  • Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy building repeatable strategies and processes
  • Thrive in fast-moving environments and can adapt strategies for scalable growth
