Job Description

Title: Assembler I
Pay Rate or Salary Range: $17.64/hr.
Employment Type: Contract
Estimated End Date: December 2025 ((with possible 6-month extension depending on business needs)
Schedule: 2nd Shift - Monday to Friday hours TBD (Standard 40-hour workweek)

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Assembler I to work on-site with our client a worldwide designer manufacturer and integrator of precision control components company. This is an entry-level position offering training and support in a clean compliance-oriented environment. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Read and follow detailed work instructions and device instructions (DIs).
- Set up workstations and collect required materials from bins.
- Assemble product components per specifications and verify own work.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the assigned work area.
- Document work accurately through written logs or data entry systems.
- Follow safety procedures and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Assist with additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 0 1 year of experience in manufacturing assembly or light industrial work.
- Ability to read understand and follow technical instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks.
- Close-range vision depth perception and color recognition.
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows-based systems).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (read/write/speak).
- Must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
Preferred Qualifications:
- IPC soldering certification (preferred).
- Experience with soldering and small component handling is a plus.
