Job Description
Role: SAP Basis Consultant
Location: New York (Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite required)
NYC midtown Rockefeller center 600 5th Ave NYC
Job Description:
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in SAP BASIS including hands-on experience with S/4HANA SAP Solution Manager and SAP landscape management.
- Technical Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture including upgrades migrations and system conversion.
- Expertise in SAP HANA and ASE database administration including performance tuning backup recovery and disaster recovery.
- Strong understanding of firewall and network configurations for SAP systems.
- In-depth experience with SAP Solution Manager especially in Change Request Management (ChaRM).
- Familiarity with SAP Disclosure Management for regulatory and financial reporting.
- Proficient in BOBJ reporting tools and Analysis for Office (AFO).
- Basic understanding of POPI compliance in SAP systems and data privacy requirements.
- Experience in Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and execution for SAP landscapes.
- Certifications: SAP BASIS certification (e.g. SAP Certified Technology Associate) is preferred.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting diagnostic and problem-solving abilities to ensure the optimal performance of SAP systems.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment with SAP functional teams and departments.
Additional Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining focus on high-priority projects.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori SAP HANA Studio and BTP is a plus
